Funny, when I pulled in to the visitor center, I saw this group of people having a picnic in the rain. I thought it was a little odd to choose to sit in that very wet spot when there was a building not too far away... It took approaching the group directly to see that it was a statue!
It's a good day for bouncing down the beach! We're so lucky that the rain stopped (although I know that Denise had every intention of enjoying the beach here... I think she would have carried an umbrella if the sky had still been leaking).
